ESC is terrible. They keep on pretending that people's vote counts, but it does not. The juries vote like a seal show, mostly in unison, so more diverse people's votes do not count at all on aggregate. Where was CH in the pople's vote? The first thing I will observe in the future is to boycott all the ESC sponsors. The second is I will avoid this camp parade altogether.

Netherlands were wrongfully disqualified. Shame on the EBU. No longer United by Music. But divided by not discussing it en let the footage alledgely made by the cameraperson be teleased and put it out there. Joost is now being punished before a verdict was made.

I had to laugh when we got 0 from the public too. Olly and his dancers handled it so well and took it on the chin. His voice was shakey at times and I think the explicit nature of the choreo was too much for some people.

It's funny that on all news about Netherlands incident they mentioned camera operator was woman. Idk about you, but fist thought that came to my mind is sexual harassment.

Nemo and Switzerland are the real deserved winners and I LOVED the move Bambie giving them their witchy crown and Nemo performing with it. They got so close during ESC and I loved how everyone was happy for Nemo getting 12 points. But i disliked Baby Lasagnas Reaction and he seemed to be a rude loser. Sorry, but this is a no go. Also Croatian Jury giving Nemo 0 points was kind of tactic to win. What a bad game. Hope to see you next year again, it was a blast having you and the best seeing Nemo win :)

I enjoyed some of the songs this year, including the winner. However I felt the quality of the songs, especially the last couple of years have been really low. Despite what's happening in the world, I thought Israel had one of the best songs. She was so brave to even be standing on stage with her flag, and that speaks volume to her strength compared to all the boos and hate that was showed that night.

The fact Eden sounded as good as she did while being bullied by 100,000 people throughout her entire performance says a lot about her character and strength. Regardless thanks for your reaction and for standing up for what you think is right to do. When bullies force you to act a certain way you really mustn’t let them. I subscribed again.

The BBC should definitely invite you to be part of their commentary team. There was quite a funny tweet pointing out that in these days of Diversity, Equity & Inclusion, having a commentary team consisting of four gay men doesn’t seem very diverse.

Croatia was ROBBED of victory! 1. Croatia won the public vote. 2. Switzerland was FIFTH in the public vote, saved by the jury. 3. Actually, Switzerland would have been sixth, if the Netherlands hadn't been disqualified. 4. Taking into account the semifinals, SIX countries (Croatia, Ukraine, Israel, France, the Netherlands, and Armenia) got more votes than Switzerland. 5. Jury awarded more points to Nemo than to Loreen (Tattoo) last year, which is an absolute joke. 6. The only reason why jury voted for Switzerland in such huge numbers was political; because the song is about being "non-binary". 7. Switzerland's staging was mediocre, a meal in a microwave. 8. Vocally there were better performers as well (France, Slovenia, Ukraine, ...). 9. Never ever has someone who placed fifth in the public vote won the Eurovision. 10. Devil works hard, but eurovision gay lobby works harder. CROATIA IS THE TRUE WINNER! 🇭🇷 Bonus point: Eurovisionworld.com poll, which is the biggest eurovision poll, incorrectly predicted the winner only ONCE, in 2016, and by only 1%. This year Croatia won the poll with an 5% advantage over the second place, indicating the dominant public support. Eden was definitely better in the Semi-finals, but considering she was harrased by other contesters during the previous days, got booed the entire night, and had tight security around her because protesters tried to break into the stadium, I can see why she wasn't on the top of her game. Kudos for still being able to get on stage and perform, especially when she's only 20. And 🪬 is a lucky number, after all. On another note, the EBU got a lot of work on their hands. Judges got on social media and openly admitted to boycotting her, which is strictly against the rules. And also the whole mess with the NL... I expect some changes will be made before the next competition.

Love your honest reaction, only to add that croatian Rim Tig Tagi Dim lyrics are not mental. Selling a cow is a serious thing, many people forgot that domestic animals are really valued a lot because if you have them for your personal consumption, they cost alot and prolly they are the only thing that you can sell so that you have little money to settle for a month in some foreign country while looking for a job. This song tells the story of many immigrants who move away for better opportunities. Its a sad song special when you actually LOVE your country, every inch of it but you gotta leave because there is no future for you. There is so much raw emotion behind his seemingly simple lyrics. He is great songwritter in his own simplicity, no fancy words, just down to earth true stories. "Just dance" is part where he dont wanna think (anxiety attacks), he dont wanna tears, letters, because that will break him down. Meow cat please meow back have a deeper meaning as well. Anyway he sold his cow and there is no going back...

Im so happy that Nemo won! My problem with Eurovision this year is that it felt more like an episode of Coronation Street than a music competition. Thanks for the honest, unbiased recap of the final. It's very much appreciated!

Have loved watching your Eurovision vids this year! Fun, respectful and honest, of course. We all have our faves and different opinions on what we like.

The booing during the songs is so annoying and childish. You can be against a country participating, you can even boo a representative of the EBU after they just excluded a country under unclear circumstances, there are better ways to protest but fair enough. But booing a singer while they are performing a song, that's just against everything the ESC stands for (or used to). I remember the Russian entry from 2015, just after the invasion of Crimea. They were all dressed in white and singing of love and peace... yes, it was very ick and cringe and wrong in so many ways and they shouldn't have been there, and of course they were booed during their song (not half as loud as this year but still). At some point Conchita who was cohosting stepped in and shouted at the audience that they were acting like bullies and only then I realized that the singer who was about 20 years old was crying. And that the crowd was in fact bullying her in the most primitive way possible.
